Player & Family Guide

Goal. Answer questions drawn from the Catholic Bible (73 books), the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and the Catechism of St. Pius X. Earn XP, unlock saint relics, collect stars in all five pillars, and print your Sacramental Certificate of Merit.

Quest Mode

Journey through the five pillars: Creed, Sacraments, Commandments, Prayer, and Scripture & Saints. Use Hero Clue, 50:50 Grace, and Scripture Scroll lifelines when a question is hard. Confirm each answer in the dock before it counts.

Gauntlet & Blitz

Gauntlet is survival: 3 lives, mixed questions from every pillar. Blitz is a 60-second sprint for doctrinal reflexes. Both feed the same XP and rank ladder.

Study Hall

Browse all 65 questions with official citations, filtered by pillar and source. Catechists can print the parish study sheet for classroom use.

Gallery & Organ

Explore hand-crafted sacred art, then play the virtual liturgical organ: keys 1–8 play stops, ZXCV play 16′ bass pedals, M plays the Plagal Amen cadence.

Student roster & relics

Parish & family roster: keep one profile per child. Each tracks its own patron, XP, relics, and stars. Switch students from the header button; export or import the roster as JSON to move between devices.
Relics & ranks: steady play unlocks saint relics and climbs ranks from Catechumen to Doctor of the Church.
Certificate: print or share a Sacramental Certificate of Merit with the student name, patron seal, score, and rank.

Controls

Select answers with ABCD or 1–4; Enter confirms, Esc steps back. Every action also has a touch button.
Toggle English/Spanish anytime from the header; open screens and modals re-render in the new language.
Sound and voice narration have independent toggles; replay any spoken line from its button.

Mobile & accessibility

Installable offline PWA: add to the home screen and the full quest plays without internet after the first visit.
Large touch targets, safe-area-aware confirmation dock, spoken questions and answers with replay, and sound toggle support young and emerging readers.

Troubleshooting & support

If there is no sound, check the in-game sound toggle first, then the device volume and silent switch.
If voices sound wrong or missing, the browser picks from installed system voices; installing an English or Spanish voice on the device improves narration.
If a profile seems lost, open the roster (header 👥 button) — each student keeps separate progress; re-import a previously exported roster JSON to restore it.
For a fresh start, start a new profile rather than clearing browser data, so siblings keep their progress.

Guía para Jugadores y Familias

Meta. Responde preguntas de la Biblia católica (73 libros), del Catecismo de la Iglesia Católica y del Catecismo de San Pío X. Gana XP, desbloquea reliquias de santos, reúne estrellas en los cinco pilares e imprime tu Diploma de Mérito Sacramental.

Modo Misión

Recorre los cinco pilares: Credo, Sacramentos, Mandamientos, Oración y Escritura y Santos. Usa las ayudas Pista del Héroe, Gracia 50:50 y Pergamino de la Escritura cuando una pregunta sea difícil. Confirma cada respuesta antes de que cuente.

Desafío y Relámpago

Desafío es supervivencia: 3 vidas y preguntas mezcladas de todos los pilares. Relámpago es una carrera de 60 segundos para reflejos doctrinales. Ambos alimentan la misma escalera de XP y rangos.

Sala de Estudio

Explora las 65 preguntas con citas oficiales, filtradas por pilar y fuente. Los catequistas pueden imprimir la hoja de estudio parroquial para el aula.

Galería y Órgano

Contempla arte sacro hecho a mano y luego toca el órgano litúrgico virtual: las teclas 1–8 tocan registros, ZXCV tocan pedales bajos de 16′, M toca la cadencia plagal del Amén.

Registro de alumnos y reliquias

Registro parroquial y familiar: un perfil por niño. Cada uno lleva su propio patrono, XP, reliquias y estrellas. Cambia de alumno desde el botón del encabezado; exporta o importa el registro en JSON para moverlo entre dispositivos.
Reliquias y rangos: jugar con constancia desbloquea reliquias de santos y sube rangos de Catecúmeno a Doctor de la Iglesia.
Diploma: imprime o comparte un Diploma de Mérito Sacramental con el nombre del alumno, sello patronal, puntuación y rango.

Controles

Elige respuestas con ABCD o 1–4; Enter confirma, Esc retrocede. Cada acción también tiene un botón táctil.
Cambia entre inglés y español cuando quieras desde el encabezado; las pantallas y ventanas abiertas se actualizan al nuevo idioma.
El sonido y la narración por voz tienen interruptores independientes; repite cualquier línea hablada desde su botón.

Móvil y accesibilidad

PWA instalable sin conexión: agrégala a la pantalla de inicio y toda la misión juega sin internet después de la primera visita.
Botones táctiles grandes, confirmación adaptada al área segura, preguntas y respuestas habladas con repetición, y control de sonido apoyan a lectores pequeños y nuevos.

Confianza para padres: sin anuncios, chat, compras ni cuentas. Nombres, XP, reliquias y registros se quedan en tu dispositivo — nada se sube a internet. Solución de problemas y ayuda

Si no hay sonido, revisa primero el interruptor de sonido del juego, luego el volumen del dispositivo y el modo silencio.
Si las voces suenan mal o faltan, el navegador elige entre las voces instaladas del sistema; instalar una voz de inglés o español en el dispositivo mejora la narración.
Si un perfil parece perdido, abre el registro (botón 👥 del encabezado) — cada alumno guarda su propio progreso; reimporta un JSON exportado antes para restaurarlo.
Para empezar de nuevo, crea un perfil nuevo en vez de borrar los datos del navegador, para que los hermanos conserven su progreso.
